Are you a Senior Test Development Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity in Electronics Design and Development? Our client has a new requirement for a Senior Test Development Engineer to be based in their offices in Rogerstone, Wales.

The client is a highly innovative global electronics organisation and are looking for a Senior Test Development Engineering candidate to join the team in their Rogerstone branch. They supply some of the worlds leading manufacturers within Automotive, industrial, Defence, Aero and medical markets

The Responsibilities of the role will include:

• Work with customers and other parties on function test concepts to deliverable test solutions
• Responsible for the control of Test Development budgets
• Be involved in full product life cycle (Quote, Design, Build) as well as continuing maintenance afterwards
• Assist the Technical and Operations manager with Technical issues
• Liaise with clients as well as suppliers
• Write Functional test programs using LabView, LabWindows CVI, Teststand, Visual Basic and Support JTAG

They are ideally looking for a candidate who also has the following:

• Ideally MSc or BSc Degree in Electronics Or Software Engineering but will also consider HNC candidates
  3 + Years experience in Test Development Engineering roles
• Experience working in multidiscipline areas including Automotive, consumer Electronics, Defence, Railway and Aircraft Sectors
• Experience in the design of PCBs to manufacture in small quantities for the use in Automatic Test Equipment
• Experience in the programming and utilisation of Micro controllers
