Accounts Person required
Reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for the day to day running of two associated companies involved in the Property Development Sector using the Sage 50 Accounts package.
8 am - 1 pm, 25 hours per week
This to include:-
- Working in conjunction with an existing employee inputting both purchase and sales ledger invoices, receipts and payments
- Weekly reporting of Sales Ledger Balances and chasing overdue tenants for their outstanding rent
- Purchase Ledger Reconciliation’s and Payments
- Daily Bank Reconciliation’s
In association with these duties you will prepare and submit the Quarterly VAT Returns and reconcile these to the relevant nominal accounts, and Quarterly Compliance Reports to the Banks.
There is also a monthly report to a Property Holding Company, reporting the relevant Rents Received and Expenses incurred and reconciliation of this report with their representative.
You will be responsible for preparation of Annual Accounts to Trial Balance Level for submission to the Accountant, and Budgets for Contractual Expenses in relation to Management charges and Insurance to be submitted to the relevant tenants.
Liaising with the Accountant and Financial Advisers re both accounts and ad hoc reporting requirements must be experienced. Terms and hours are negotiable and would ideally suit the self employed
