Salary: cGBP30-35k + bonus + car + real promotional possibility of moving to National Account Manager level

This highly successful and very well established food manufacturer is looking to expand its customer base as well as develop existing customers. Customer service, quality, and new product development has been at the core of their success, constantly evolving to move with customer trends and tastes. Whilst maintaining core products and values. Producing quality food for Foodservice channels including cost and profit sectors.
The Role
As the Business Development Manager you will be concentrating on winning new business mainly across Sports channels including Stadia and Leisure channels on a Regional and National basis. Being a self-motivated and driven business development manager you will able to source and win new clients.
The Person
As a successful salesperson you will have ideally come from FMCG sales food background, you will be a strategic business do-er. Have a demonstrable track record of achievement of opening of new accounts and understand their systems and buying styles. As well understand how individual accounts work and how to manage them effectively. Ideally you will have sold to the Sports and Leisure sector.
Key responsibilities include
- Maximise product presence across Foodservice within Sports and Leisure channels.
- Play leading part in managing and driving new business.
- You will be fully responsible for delivering the sales and profit targets in accounts.
- To manage and develop strong long term sales relationships with relevant customers.
- Implementation of the company's strategic sales plan for your specific customers. Develop short, medium & long terms plans for your accounts.
