Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a leading service based business in Chesterfield as the look to recruit and ambitious and dedicated Management Accountant.
The successful candidate to have full exposure all areas of management accounts and in return will be provided with the opportunity to progress their career and gain valuable exposure to a thriving organisation
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
*Prepare monthly management accounts in a timely manner
*Produce quality commentary of performance against budget and forecast
*Review accruals and prepayment to ensure accurate reporting
*Balance sheet account review and management
*Assist with annual budget and quarterly forecasting
*Assist with audit preparation and testing
*Help in development of reporting internally to the business
*Development of procedures for best practise
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
*ACA / ACCA or CIMA Qualified
*Exposure to producing timely and accurate management accounts
*Excellent accounting practices knowledge
*Ability to build relationships with people from multiple disciplines and at multiple levels
*Ability to manage workload to effectively deliver multiple tasks whilst maintaining attention to detail
Please note this role will require weekly local travel so license and own vehicle are a must
