Energy Division Team Leader

Location: Widnes

Business: This company's operations have a market-leading presence in a wide range of sectors associated with the food chain. The Group's companies manufacture quality products for use in human and animal foodstuffs, agriculture, aquaculture, and industrial applications. The company has a UK annual turnover approaching £280 million and employs around 1,000 people at 23 sites across the country.

The Position

Applications are invited for a Team Leader at the Company's Widnes Site. This is a full time permanent position, working shifts averaging 42 hours per week.

As a Team Leader your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company's requirements but will include:

- Overseeing the entire process including the electrical generation from renewable energy sources
- Health & Safety impact including risk assessments
- Continuous process operation
- Finished product quality
- Essential maintenance of a busy Energy Plant including electrical maintenance
- Team Management and Leadership
- Auditing
- Environmental and general compliance under IPPC regulations and EMS 14001 accreditation.

The Person

- You must have served a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship
- Have extensive Electrical experience working in a continuous process environment
- Experience of handling electrical maintenance and breakdowns
- Confident demeanour
- Be able to guide and lead a team to solve process problems.
- Experience of plant operations,
- Maintenance and people management is essential to this role.
