We currently have a vacancy for a:
Technical Support (POD)
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Pre-Press department. We are looking for someone with a proactive and helpful approach, who is able to contribute and work as a strong team player.
Applicants will need:
- To have a good level of education in Maths and English. IT literacy is essential.
- Experience of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, Enfocus Pitstop and PDF creation.
- Print related Pre-Press knowledge.
- Ability to liaise with customers in a professional manner via email, phone or face to face.
- Good work organisation skills, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Have a helpful approach to team members and customers.
Duties will include:
- Being the link between the customer and TJ International for POD preparation tasks, reporting and customer queries
- Locate files and required data for POD preparation.
- Manage the POD Digital Library
- Prepare files ready for POD: Preflight files, amend spines etc.
- Perform all other functions, duties and training as required or requested by the Management of the company.
- Delivering an excellent standard of work to internal customers
- Complying with all TJ International policies and procedures, including health & safety, quality systems, personnel, smoking, mobile phone, dignity at work and the TJ values & behaviours.
The contracted hours for the role will be: 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day)
Salary: £22,500 - £24,500 per annum, depending on experience
