Warehouse Operative

We currently have a vacancy for a:

Warehouse Operative

Applicants will need:               

• Clean Driving License for Road use
• Evidence of valid training from accredited body and experience in operating Forklift Trucks, or willingness to undertake this training
• Experience of warehousing and logistics operations is desirable
• The ability to understand safe systems of work Health and safety awareness

Duties will include:       

• Receiving and checking all goods inwards
• Responsible for the safe, timely and damage-free movement of stock to appropriate locations
• Delivering stock to production departments
• Checking for damaged stock and reporting to Line Manager
• Assist with Stock Counts as required
• Regular forklift checks and refuelling manual handling equipment
• H&S and housekeeping compliance in line with legal requirements, Risk
• Assessments and Safe Systems of Work

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday shift working between 06:00 - 18:00)

Rate of pay: £346.66 gross per week
