Academy Reading Lead (Librarian)

We are seeking to appoint an Academy Reading Lead (Librarian) to support the development of reading and to promote the climate of reading for pleasure across the whole Academy. The successful applicant will work in and manage the effective use of the Library and reading areas within school and will provide administrative support using the Accelerated Reader Programme and the Library Management system (Eclipse).
The role will also include supporting learners with reading interventions, collaborating with a range of staff to provide extra-curricular enrichment activities linked to reading and to create positive reading environments to promote reading engagement.
