LOCATION: GEORGE'S CHELLASTON
HOURS: FULL TIME - 45 HOURS PER WEEK
SALARY: FROM GBP20,500 PER YEAR (PLUS MONTHLY & QUARTERLY BONUS)
- Manage and motivate staff, assist in the recruitment of staff and train and develop staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for planning, forecasting, report on sales, costs and business performance, according to company requirements.
- Accountable for the strategy of the site to include reporting and monitoring
- Offer idea generation regarding new ideas and concepts which impact the business internally and externally
- Overall understanding of P&L, how to read figures, report on and deliver against
- Manage selling and customer service activities and staff competence in these areas, so as to optimise and sustain sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction
- Full accountability for budgets, costs and overheads, and all factors affecting the profitability and performance of the shop. Work within budgets and control food costs and wastage in line with budgets
- Report on maintenance issues to Central Support Team
- Manage and oversee the shop staffing rotas
- Full responsibility in ensuring attendance to weekly management meetings, actions and targets are set within timescales
- Maintain effective communication between all of the food production areas within the kitchen
- Ensure checklists are complete and enforce a strict clean as you go policy
- Full accountability in the set-up and food production areas within the kitchen to maximize productivity and minimize waste
- Ensure consistent delivery on the quality of all products
- Ensuring that all staff adhere to the companies policies and procedures
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and health and safety
- Checking stock levels and ordering supplies, whilst ensuring stock availability at all times
- Consistently comply to Health and Safety legislation and enforce these amongst staff members
The post holder may be required to perform duties other than those given in the job description for the post. Such variations are a common occurrence and would not in themselves justify the revaluation of the post
