Brighton and Hove CCG is a membership organisation comprising the 40 general practices in a diverse and vibrant city. Their practices serve about 300,000 people. They have a relatively young population including two universities with more than 35,000 students. Reducing health inequalities and improving health outcomes particularly for people with mental health problems, cancer and multi-morbidity are key priorities for the city. In collaboration with 4 other local CCGs, the CCG is on an exciting journey towards the creation of a new organisational entity known as a Multi-Specialty Community Provider (MCP) which will be in place by 2020.
They have developed excellent local working relationships across Sussex and have the advantage of a Co-terminus relationship with Brighton and Hove City Council. With a GBP480m capital scheme in the local provider stimulating major service reconfiguration, the CCG has ambitious plans to commission effectively for its population.
The CCG are looking to implement a brand new post into the structure - Deputy Chief Operating Officer. As the new Deputy Chief Operating Officer, you will be joining an experienced and capable executive team, leading a forward thinking CCG as it enters a positive period of change. You will support the Chief Operating Officer:
- to provide leadership for all CCG led commissioning and contract management
- in leading the transformation agenda within Brighton & Hove
- to ensure the effective and efficient operational management of the CCG and support clinical engagement throughout all aspects of CCG work.
If the role is of interest to you or someone you may know, please contact Andrew Vaughan for an informal and strictly confidential conversation. All applications need to be submitted by way of a CV to CY Executive Resourcing.
Closing Date: 2rd February
Interviews: mid/late February
