Technical Support / In-house Engineer (Vehicle Leasing Company)
Location: Birmingham
Salary: up to GBP26,000-GBP30,000 basic salary
Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours' p/w
Our Client are one of the leading Vehicle Leasing companies in the UK and are growing, resulting in their requirement for a Technical Support / In-house Engineer to join their Team in Birmingham.
Your remit will be to manage and escalate all technical based queries/issues regarding the vehicles on a daily basis by providing support and advice to the rest of the Accident Management Team. This role is very much a problem solving one - you will be responsible for:
*Authorising repairs in a cost effective way for the business and conveniently for the customer
*Looking to minimise Vehicle downtime
*Evaluating and managing the maintenance of fleet operations.
*Providing support to all team members
*Focusing on cost management and Vehicle downtime being kept to a minimum
Requirements: This position would ideally suit someone who has vehicle technician experience and is looking to progress within an office based technical role. You must be fully qualified to NVQ level 2/3 in motor vehicle mechanics/repair. Excellent customer service/Microsoft Office skills are also essential. Candidates with knowledge and experience in Accident / Motor / Bodily Injury Claims and Insurance will be of particular interest.
