The Job - Apprentice Recruitment Consultant

We have been working in the recruitment industry for over 15 years and developed a reputation as a collaborative recruitment partner that meets the requirements of our clients and candidates.
First People Solutions are offering exciting apprenticeships within our Glasgow Office to individuals who wish to start their careers in recruitment.
We are currently looking for a number of ambitious, motivated school- leavers who have a flair for sales and a desire to join an established market leader and play a key role in our continued business growth.
You will be based in our Head Office in Bothwell St, Glasgow and will enjoy a full and structured training programme which will involve sales techniques, solution selling, and business development.
You will be given the opportunity to learn about every part of the recruitment function across a wide range of technical, construction and engineering industry sectors.
Your role will be varied and you will be expected to update the database and be in contact with industry professionals regularly as well as building relationships with clients.
What Can You Expect?
- Full training is provided and tailored to your individual needs
- A structured programme of "on the Job" training where you will be working "live" roles
- You will be given the chance to work on every part of the recruitment process
- Progress into one of our specialist teams providing contract & permanent recruitment services
What you will need?
- Excellent communication skills
- Highers in English based subjects
- A flair for business development
- A competitive nature to meet targets
- Any previous sales experience is a plus but not a prerequisite
