Brief summary of Job Description:

Embedded Hardware and Software Engineer required by an established and expanding Electronic Design Consultancy based in Lewes/Brighton, Sussex borders to work on Embedded hardware and software within a small but dedicated team to develop exciting and innovative Public Address, Voice Alarm products.

Key Skills Required:

• Proven track record in designing electronics systems in a commercial environment
• CPLDs and FPGAs
• Full product life cycle experience

Desired but not essential skills required:

• Experience with digital audio systems
• Knowledge of IP, USB, SERDES
• Experience with RTOS

Soft skills required for position:

• Experience of small team project management
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work well independently
