A leading Financial Services client are searching for a Cloud based DevOps engineer to join the business on a contract basis to further spear-head their DevOps development across the business. They have been working with Cloud Foundry and a number of surrounding technologies to create multi data centre non-production and production environments and are subsequently looking for someone with significant knowledge in Java, Ruby or Go to further their infrastructure through code methods.

Experience and skills required:
- Experience in PaaS technologies such as Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure, Heroku or similar
- A strong developer with significant knowledge of at least Java, Ruby or Go (and an eagerness to learn others).
- Theoretical knowledge and commercial experience doing TDD
- A versatile technical engineer who has knowledge of BASH, command line Scripting, with some exposure of networking, virtualisation & security having deployed to cloud environments.
- A trusted advisor who is forward thinking, supportive of successful delivery & achievement comes from collaborative team effort with strong communication skills.
- Experience of BOSH
- Experience of Redis, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, Docker, Ansible or alternatives
- Proven eagerness for continual personal development
- Willingness to learn new technologies and apply them within a challenging environment.
