National Field Sales Business Development Manager with excellent negotiating, customer service and client management skills is required for a Global Company based in Reading, Berkshire.

 

SALARY: up to £30,000 basic salary / up to £50,000 OTE (includes basic salary) + Company Car + Benefits       

LOCATION: Candidates will ideally be based around the M4 corridor

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a National Field Sales Business Development Manager that has excellent negotiating, customer service and client management skills.

Working as the National Field Sales Business Development Manager you will develop new opportunities with Automotive Retailers across the UK.

As the National Field Sales Business Development Manager you will be involved with managing prospects and pipeline, booking appointments and attending meetings across the country to pitch to prospective automotive retailers. You will also liaise closely with the Office Team to on-board and train new retail clients.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the National Field Sales Business Development Manager:

  • Managing and building up prospects in a sales pipeline using Salesforce
  • Contacting prospects and setting up meetings to visit
  • Field based and visiting retailers across the Country
  • Attending pitch meetings to engage prospect retailers
  • On-boarding Retailers (contract signing etc.) and training
  • Working with Office Team on new developments and tasks
  • Time logging
  • Call logs and reporting to Account Director each week

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to build rapport and present in a professional manner at all times
  • Strong client handling management skills and good client manner
  • Excellent ability to communicate on different levels of seniority both within and outside the business
  • Excellent writing/documentation skills for presentations, proposals and the briefing process
  • Works to a high attention to detail
  • Good with deadlines, workload and planning and multi-tasking. Self-starter, able to work with very minimal supervision
  • Full commercial and financial awareness and knowledge
  • Good team player, well-motivated and enthusiastic - happy to contribute ideas
  • Intermediate in MS Office packages
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding in following standard process and process management
  • A polite and professional manner with good client / customer service skills, coupled with the ability to utilise these skills in order to meet and exceed client requirements and expectations
  • Highly motivated with the desire to embark on a steep learning curve learning new skills, in order to meet and exceed client requirements and expectations
  • A team player who recognises that opportunities will be presented to develop and progress to the next level within the business, based on development and achievements within their current role
