I am currently recruiting for a Helpdesk Technician to provide 1st line support and to act as a first point of contact for customers, field engineers and internal departments for a company who manufacture ticket machine equipment for the parking industry
The Role:
* Back office support for companies systems
* Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve problems or escalate to relevant department
* Deal with incoming faults over the phone or via email
* Liaise with customers/engineers and provide regular updates
* Maintain ownership of faults until resolution, ensuring all faults are progressed and cleared within the timescale
* Diagnose and resolve issues at first point of contact
* Perform system admin duties and proactive system checks
* Various administrative tasks including collating reports, managing users and passwords
* Preparation of reports from the various back office systems utilising all Microsoft Office products
* Support all in-house back office systems
Experience:
* Previous experience of 1st line support or similar support environment
* Experience of receiving and managing customer queries through to completion
* Experience with Microsoft office products
* Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
Salary:
* ??20,000 - ??22,000 (depending on experience) + company benefits
