Prospero Health & Social Care are looking for a Deputy Manager to work in a residential setting in Burnham-on-Sea.
This role is to cover a long term sick, but could have the opportunity to go permanent. We are looking for someone who can fit in with the current team and have an 'open door policy.'
The Deputy Manager should have a 'hands on approach', being prepared to work on the 'floor' as part of the team as well as carrying out specified management duties .
Main Responsibilities:
*Support Service Users in line with their care plans
*Encourage Independence
*Control Finances
*Contribute towards the wellbeing of service users (in line with CQC requirements)
*To keep records
*Manage Rotas and Support Seniors in their role
Prospero Health and Social Care offer full in house training including the full Care Certificate for all candidates who are new to the care sector. We hold regular training in our Bristol offices, such as Advanced Epilepsy Awareness and Medication training.
The ideal candidate will:
*Be a strong resilient character
*Be self motivated
*Have a caring and calm attitude and empathy with Young people and adults.
*Have an ability to manage challenging behaviour
*The ability to manage challenging situations
Requirements:
*Be able to drive and have access to a car
*An enhanced DBS check is required for all positions - we can apply for one on your behalf
*Minimum of two references to cover a period of 5 years
*Face to face interview
We can offer flexible hours, whether you are looking for night shifts, weekend shifts or day to day work.
