Role: Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer
Salary: GBP28k - GBP38k + Vehicle + Bonus
Location: Cambridge
My client has a vacancy for a SITE ENGINEER / SETTING OUT ENGINEER to join their expanding team who will be based covering the Norfolk area. candidates will be located in Cambridge.
The role will be encompass working on multi-disciplinary projects which will all be heavy civil focused and cam range across steel and concrete framed buildings, highways, sewers and other similar sectors.
The role is based around but not limited to the below points:
-Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client.
-Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
-Setting Out and surveying the site
-Preparing reports as required & resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
Candidates Must the below or have experience of:
-A working knowledge of AutoCAD
-Topographical surveying or As built drawing
-Setting out
-Using site equipment such as Trimble Robotic Total Station or similar
-CSCS card
-Full UK drivers license.
