The role of Internal Sales Office Assistant
- Dealing with customers on the telephone regarding product and pricing information.
- Maximising sales through outbound calling and chasing quotes.
- Basic knowledge of computers in order to process purchase orders and check back orders.
- Dealing with product returns from customers, organising collection of goods using various carriers and accounting for these by raising credit notes.
- Liaising closely with suppliers and manufacturers for delivery and product information.
- The ability to pro-actively manage a varied and demanding workload.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to cope well under pressure.
- Previous sales and industry experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

- Self-motivation
- Experience within an electrical wholesale environment
- Excellent collaboration skills, but also the ability to work independently

- An eye for detail
- Demonstrate a good knowledge of key Microsoft packages

- Have a flexible attitude and be willing to pitch in where necessary to support colleagues
What do we offer?
- Starting salary negotiable subject to experience
- Commencing on 20 days holiday per annum (full time employees) plus Bank Holidays increasing with each completed years’ service up to 25 days plus Bank Holidays
- 42½ hours per week
- Monday-Friday 8.00am-5.30pm (with occasional Saturday’s)
