Lead Asbestos Surveyor - Up to GBP28k + BENS
Stafford, W. Midlands
A brand new opportunity has arisen for BOHS P402 qualified Lead Asbestos Surveyor to join a nationally recognised Environmental consultancy due to continual growth plans being implemented.
With offices strategically placed throughout the UK, our client have the full capability to provide full national coverage, making it one of the leading consultancies for Asbestos consultancy. UKAS accredited to ISO standards and the abilities to provide Asbestos Surveying, Sampling, Testing, Air Monitoring, and other consultancy services, an impressive portfolio of clients can be assured that the best possible service will be showcased.
This Lead Asbestos Surveyor opportunity will essentially see you conduct a range of Asbestos Management, Refurbishment and Demolition disciplined Surveys across various West Midlands locations, primarily in and around the Birmingham region.
Other key duties include:
- Visit Domestic and/or Commercial properties in a direct fashion
- Follow HSG:264 'The Survey Guide' for all Management and Refurbishment/Demolition Surveys
- Submit relevant Bulk Samples for testing and sampling procedures in a UKAS controlled Lab
- Complete and submit relevant Asbestos reports for clients
- Liaise with clients/tenants for all Project developments
Our client are looking for these key qualities for the Lead Asbestos Surveyor role:
- Hunger, drive and self-motivation to lead a team
- BOHS P402 qualified with at least 18 months of Asbestos Surveying experience on Domestic/Commercial properties
- Great knowledge of Asbestos and Surveying techniques
- Experience of using IT and online applications for Asbestos data/report submissions
- Flexible and adaptable to travel across the West Midlands and other UK wide regions
