Internal Sales / Business Development - Timber Supply
Location:Oxford
Salary Basic to GBP22,000 (depending on experience)

THE ROLE:

- Making proactive outbound calls to new leads and lost / lapsed customers to generate business, profiling the customer to identify real business needs through your effective questioning techniques
- Identifying sales and business development opportunities, working closely with the relevant salespeople
- Maintaining systems to record contacts made, actions taken and follow up completed, as well as a feedback procedure, capturing issues identified, market intelligence etc and passed to the relevant teams for action
- Promoting new products to your existing customer base as well as following up on new leads

THE CANDIDATE:

- Successful background in Internal sales / Business Development / Lead Generation, working to KPIs/targets within a business to business environment, ideally in a similar industry
- Understanding the sales process and how to utilise it to maximum advantage
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to build strong customer relationships but also persuasive and confident in opening and/or leading discussions
- Results driven and tenacious with strong time management skills
- Driven, energetic and enthusiastic about future growth
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision, both individually and as a team member
- Knowledge of timber and panel products is desirable
