Nigel Wright is currently recruiting a Marketing Manager for an established organisation based in County Durham. The organisation is highly respected and operates from multiple sites and they are looking for someone to lead their B2B marketing function, reporting into the business owners in both a strategic and operational capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Planning

- Working with the separate divisions and offices to develop mini / divisional marketing plans.
- Co-ordinate and develop 1 and 3 yearmarketing plans for the organisation as a whole.
- Undertake regular review meetings with the leadership team to assess progress and updateplans.

Tele-marketing Strategy

- Database segmentation and development of target client / prospect data to enable effective tele-marketing campaigns.

Prospective Client Meetings

- Undertaking research and providing summaries to staff attending pitches.
- Tender and bid writing.
- Preparation of relevant collateral and materials for pitch meetings.

Communcations and PR

- Devise and execute email and postal marketing campaigns.
- Liaising with the organisation's external PR agency to maximise coverage.
- Responsibility for the website content and project managing any upgrades.
- Social media management (apps, LinkedIn, Twitter etc).
- Use of data analytics to target prospects and update the website as required.
- To be the face of internal communications.

Events / Networking

- Ensuring the right individuals within the organisation attend relevant events and networking opportunities.
- Coordinating and arranging client events.
- Suggesting, coordinating and arranging events with partner organisations.
- Trade show attendance.

Materials and Collateral

- Development of relevant collateral including flyers, brochures and exhibition materials.

Monitoring

- Evaluating return on investment of marketing activities.
- Reviewing the sales pipeline and conversions of prospect and pitch meetings.
- Monitoring the value of work won on the back of specific allocations of resources, marketing activities etc.

People Management

- Managing the marketing team effectively to deliver on the above.

Person Spec:

- Previous marketing management experience is essential.
- Experience of devising an implementing marketing strategies.
- A digital marketing skill set including email marketing, use of google analytics, social media management.etc
- Data segmentation experience.
