Marketing Specialist (Part time, Maternity Cover)

Salary GBP28,000 - GBP32,000 (Pro Rata) plus benefits, 0.4-0.6 FTE, Initially 10 month duration
Marketing Specialist (Part-time, Maternity Cover)
My client is a world class Hertfordshire based manufacturer. An opportunity has arisen to appoint a Marketing Specialist to offer continued marketing and promotional support to their Sales Teams based around the world during the current incumbent's maternity leave. This position is being offered on a part-time basis, ideally 2-3 days per week (flexible on hours / days to suit candidate) initially for 10 months.
Key responsibilities of this role are:
- Maintaining current and managing the development of new marketing materials including literature
- Identifying relevant conferences and exhibitions for company to attend
- Co-ordinating marketing activities for conferences and exhibitions throughout Europe including registration, attendees, stand design, promotional materials and logistics. You will also provide support to events in the USA and Asia.
- Identifying and producing content for relevant external publications
- Managing the content for updating of websites
- Co-ordinating internal communications across all functions
- Tracking and managing marketing budgets
- Identifying and managing corporate gifts
Candidates must have previous marketing experience and be comfortable using Microsoft Office. Excellent time management and strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role. Equally as important is the ability to work well in a team.
