As a Security Officer, you’ll be responsible for providing a high quality security service to customers in Newport. 

Offering excellent levels of customer service, you’ll provide a safe and secure work environment for site staff. Specifically, your duties will involve: 

- Performing patrols 
- Overseeing gate, access and egress control 
- Booking staff, visitors and contractors on and off the site 
- Responding to telephone calls
- Swiftly reporting any lost, stolen or damaged equipment and/or property 

Interested? To be considered, you will need: 

- An SIA licence
- Customer service experience 
- Strong IT skills
- A professional and confident telephone manner 
- A full driving licence and access to your own transport  

Due to the requirements of this role, candidates must also have a five year traceable work history. 

Self-motivated and focused, as a Security Officer, you must be a clear and effective communicator who displays integrity whilst dealing with colleagues and customers. You will also have strong collaboration skills and the desire to learn and grow. 

Please note, this is a full time role, working 42 hours per week on a pattern of 2 day shifts, 2 night shifts and 4 nights off.
