Family Solicitor, Leeds - This specialist law firm, renowned for its expertise in family law, is looking to appoint an ambitious and bright Family Solicitor with experience of dealing with a wide range of publicly funded family matters.
JOB TITLE: Family Solicitor
PQE: NQ +

THE ROLE:
The Family Solicitor will be responsible for a caseload made up predominantly with publicly funded family law. With a strong pipeline of work, Family Solicitors working in this firm are assured of a busy caseload of files to work on from day one. The successful Family Solicitor will be working alongside highly regarded Solicitors handling a mixture of family matters, including divorce and separation, cohabitation, civil partnerships, financial relief, domestic violence, children matters and care proceedings. In order to be considered for this role as a Family Solicitor you must have some experience in legal aid.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful Family Solicitor will have at least 12 months PQE or equivalent and will have a sound knowledge of Family Law. It is essential that you are well versed with publicly funded family work and must be prepared to deal with clients that are predominantly relying on legal aid. The ideal Family Solicitor will be able to demonstrate excellent client liaison/interpersonal skills and have the ability to organise, prioritise and handle a busy and varied caseload. Applications are welcomed from Legal Executives and Solicitors who are able to 'hit the ground running' with a busy and varied caseload of public law matters. Personality is key to be successful here as a Family Solicitor, it is vital that you are able to demonstrate a focussed passion for this evolving sector of law. All levels of qualification will be considered
