The Head of Financial Reporting will be accountable for all aspects of financial management, including financial planning, reporting and control. Leading a team of direct reports, the position is responsible for ensuring that the teams have the accurate information they need to deliver their objectives and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
We're looking for someone who has he following abilities and skills:

- Drive for Excellence: Keen understanding of process improvement techniques
- Deep Insurance / Financial Services Business Expertise: understanding of key finance and insurance business processes and financial reporting.
- Senior Management Experience: Able to interact and partner closely with stakeholders.

Skills Required

- Solid Corporate Insurance and/or Reinsurance knowledge
- Progressive post-qualified experience in financial management
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Experience with one or more data management disciplines e.g. Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Data Warehousing, Reporting is must.
- Robust analytical skills
- Team management and direct line reporting experience (essential)
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to understand and account for cultural differences
