This is a unique opening with an innovative engineering service who specialise in low volume, high performance vehicle engineering projects. They have a vacancy for an Automotive Account Manager reporting to the Vice President Business Development & Emerging Markets.
Commutable from: Oxford, Reading, Swindon, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Slough, Cirencester
Salary: GBP 38,000 - GBP44,000 p.a.

The Role
The primary objective of the Account Manager is to manager automotive accounts, for excellent relationships, sales growth, increasing margins and cash generation. The Account Manager is therefore required to prioritise the "key players", and visit them to both "add value" and improve customer satisfaction.
The role is a vital interface between the customer and the business. The Account Manager will need to continually communicate with the Production, Engineering, Development and Marketing Departments to ensure continued customer satisfaction in order to maintain the highest levels of service. The Account Manager will also be expected to suggest and implement customer service initiatives.
The Candidate
You will possess a relevant Engineering Degree and have customer facing experience of technical sales.
Possess relationship development and a customer focused mentality with automotive development engineering experience. You will have an electronic background, and an understanding of Automotive OEMs is essential.
You will be a predominately Automotive Account Manager able to commute regularly to Surrey, whilst being based from their office in Oxford.
