New Year! New Role!
We have an exciting role ready for the new year. You will be working in a small team, for a worldwide manufacturer. Working with in a small team, you will be responsible for all sales related activities, on assigned accounts and locations.
We are seeking an experienced enthusiastic team player to join our small friendly sales team whom provide industrial plastic sheeting, pipes and fittings to the construction, engineering and fabrication sectors.
The Role:
- Generate and qualify Leads
- Provide Quotes striving to maintain profit margin
- Achieve set KPI's
- Develop a business plan and sales strategy that ensure you achieve sales goals and profitability
- Make sales calls to new and existing customers in accordance to set objectives
- Maintain sales records and log all quotes and follow ups on a daily basis
- Responding to all sales inquiries by phone and electronically
- Build and maintain great customer relationships
- Working as a team, keeping colleagues updated on your work, and working together to plan effective work
- Account management
- Carry out market research and customer surveys
- Liaise and attend meetings
Skills and Attributes:
A good working knowledge of Excel and Word are essential together with excellent telephone and communication skills
You will need to be highly reliable, trustworthy, have the ability to work on your own initiative
Experience working with SAP and industry knowledge would also be advantageous.

Experience dealing with involved pricing processes
Pricing and calculating of Raw Materials
Engineering, Piping, Plastics, Building Products or Construction Market knowledge is required
Excellent Numeracy and Math's aptitude knowledge
Technical Sales ability, providing customers with pipe/sheet measurements and prices
IT Knowledge (SAP is an advantage; however knowledge of Microsoft office is essential.)
Full UK driving license
The Hours:
Standard office hours 8.30-5pm Monday - Friday
However full flexibility is needed to ensure customer satisfaction
