An opportunity for a MI & Analytical Analyst has arisen for a global Financial Services organisation based in Northampton.
Key responsibilities:
* Conduct in depth investigative analysis on portfolios and segments through use of data available via various cluster warehouses and outsourced data
* Produce ad-hoc MI and support the wider teams, senior management and stakeholders
* Produce a range of report to establish credit performance, specifically contributing to the monthly Risk Management Committees and senior stakeholder meetings
* Forecasting
* Identify trends and key metrics
* Root cause analysis of trends and incidents
* Monitor and control Credit Strategy including cut offs, limits, policy rules and tests
Knowledge & Experience
* Experience gained within a Financial Services organization is strongly preferred
* Data analysis background is essential
* Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
* Good understanding of credit card dynamics
* Advanced understanding of SAS, SQL and Excel
