Smart Recruitment are currently working with a Major Employer in Weymouth who are looking for a full time Payroll Administrator.
The ideal candidate will be expected to undertake the roles and responsibilities of working in the fast paced Payroll Team to deliver a professional customer service and an exceptional customer experience.
Tasks will include:-
- Managing the time and attendance data extract files to achieve data transfer on time, accurately and as efficiently as possible
- Payroll document management and filing recognising how important it is to always be able to locate information quickly when needed
- Processing of statutory letters and forms
- Daily payment runs
- Keying of variable data
- Focus on understanding the payroll processes from end to end
- Collating and sending overpayment data to our third party
- Responding to enquiries from our managed service provider and our customers whether this be verbally or via email
Essential Skills
- Ability to deal with difficult situations and deal with them in a calm and effective manner
- Excellent communication skills and problem solving skills are essential as you will be dealing with staff at all levels of the business
- Excellent phone manner
- Ability to operate as a trusted partner delivering a transactional HR Service and monthly payroll
- IT System understanding
- Excellent level of Literacy and numerical skills
