Introduction
We are currently recruiting for an Operations Director to join a business managing a large-scale construction infrastructure project on Sellafield. The focus of this position is to lead, manage and motivate large project teams in a demanding environment.
The Job
You will be responsible for the overall management of construction projects on behalf of the client. Is short, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered in time, at cost and meeting quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include..
- Providing direction, motivation & leadership to internal and external staff / contractors.
- Advising the Area Director on project schedule activities, action plans and project delivery status.
- Leading, reviewing and challenging project budgets and forecasts.
- Revving and approving project management plans.
- Developing, managing, and enhance key customer / stakeholder relationships.
The Candidate
Candidates will ideally be degree qualified in a relevant construction / engineering discipline, alongside a proven record of accomplishment of leading and delivering large complex projects.
NEC3 contract experience is desired for this post.
