Project Director - Rail
Location - New York, NY
Salary - $180-210k + Attractive Package
THE BUSINESS
Mackenzie Stuart is pleased to continue their working relationship with this market leading national contractor who has had a host of contract wins recently. The business is moving from strength to strength and is looking to take on multiple Project Directors within their transit division in response to recent project awards.
THE ROLE
* Leading the delivery of rail and transit projects valued at $25m and above.
* Responsible for producing and implementing all delivery scheduling as well as leading project team.
* Full profit and loss of project.
* Ensuring the timely completion of projects to budget.
* Keeping track of the project spend with the support of the Commercial team.
* Reporting to the Senior Vice President, the individual will be required to give regular updates to the board on the progress of the key projects.
* Key point of contact with the client to ensure that expectations are met.
* Keeping to strict quality and safety standards within the group.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
* Portfolio spanning 10 or more years delivering similar rail and transit projects in the US with a preference for experience working with a leading North American contractor.
* Managed projects over $20million and track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
* Prior experience collaborating with key Transit and Government agencies.
* Degree in Engineering or a related degree.
* Strong Leadership skills, with a background leading large, complex projects in the rail and transit field.
* Strong understanding of the current market.
