E-Learning Author / Online Learning Writer - Permanent - Edinburgh - GBPcompetitive
Harvey Nash are recruiting an E-Learning Author/Writer on behalf of our highly successful and growing client based in Edinburgh city centre that provide an Online Learning Solution. The successful Writer/Author will work on Training Module Development but will also be responsible for creating content for other areas of the business such as Online Support Material, Newsletters, Blogs, Sales Materials, etc. You will take ownership of the training modules from initial research and planning, through development until launch. It's a fantastic opportunity to work with national and international customers and utilise your Creative Writing skills creating Online Content that's engaging and delivers the learning objectives of the modules.
Typical Responsibilities will include;
Creation and Development of new training modules.
Applying updates to existing modules to create bespoke versions.
Proof-reading of modules including QA of own work and that of others.
Working collaboratively with customers to create modules bespoke to their business.
Work alongside other team members (Graphics Team, Account Management, Marketing, Sales) in a collaborative manner, generating ideas and solving problems.
Identify opportunities and enhancements for the product.
Writing content for marketing or sales materials.
Skills should include;
Strong Writing skills.
Ability to manage multiple of pieces of work simultaneously.
Ability to take ownership of a piece of work and manage it from planning through to completion.
Capable of working in a pressurised environment.
Technically savvy with some online or web experience.
Knowledge of Learning & Development or Educational Practices would be highly desirable.
Digital Marketing knowledge would be desirable.
