Dementia Care is a registered charity that provides care and support for people with dementia and their families. We are growing rapidly and this will continue as we expand our services and support more people with dementia.

Our small group independent living model of care is unique for people with dementia and we believe offers the best quality of care. Five people with dementia live together within a ‘family’ atmosphere, supported by our trained and dedicated Care & Support Workers in a safe and homely environment.

Our brand new development of bungalows in Dinnington are due to open in May 2017. We are now recruiting for staff to be ready to work in the new bungalows when they open.

Scheme Supervisors – Days

40 hour contract @ £9.00 per hour

We have vacancies for two Scheme Supervisors - Days, who are trained to an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and/or with a minimum of two years’ experience of delivering quality personal care and support to older people with dementia or to people who require support with their mobility and other health issues and/or have worked in a supervisory role. Hands-on care experience is essential.

Shifts operate on 12 hour shift patterns (not always the same as Care & Support Workers). If you have a keen eye for detail, experience of completing care plans, assessments, referrals and review meetings, are comfortable liaising with various care professionals and have experience of managing teams to provide a high quality service; including the management of sickness, scheduling, and quality assurance, this is the job for you!

Start dates will be staggered in the run up to May 2017.

In addition to competitive rates of pay, we also offer Guaranteed Hours, fully paid training including NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and specialist dementia qualifications in association with the University of Stirling, plus paid DBS, NEST pension scheme, childcare vouchers and paid mileage.
