HR Generalist

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to work in partnership with our Line Managers to ensure that timely and effective advice and guidance is provided to support the business, (around 180 employees).

This is a full generalist HR role, where the successful candidate will be managing the recruitment process, conducting interviews and sending out offer details, managing new starters and leavers’ admin, managing training, managing the appraisal process, monitoring absence, and also managing disciplinary and grievance procedures. 

The Candidates:

• Will be able to demonstrate an up to date knowledge of employment law.
• Will be at the level where they are currently advising managers on policies, processes and employment related issues. This role would suit a person who is looking to hone their advisory experience.
• Will have solid proven HR experience, ideally be CIPD qualified or part qualified, have exceptional attention to detail, and good numeracy skills.
• Must be a total team player, able to multi-task, work on their own initiative, manage their own workload, and will have excellent communication skills, used to interacting with people at all levels.
• Will have experience of working within a manufacturing or fast paced organisation in a HR role.

This is a permanent, full-time position, and salary is negotiable depending on experience.
