THE ROLE
- Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will join an expanding Design and Production Engineering department
- Establishing manufacturing feasibility and process design through to delivering process improvements
- Involvement with new product introduction, working with all departments to achieve stability of processes to ensure positive outcomes
- The role will be split 50:50 working on design (SolidWorks CAD System) and improving processes to enhance productivity
THE CANDIDATE
- The successful candidate will have some relevant experience and be qualified to a minimum of ONC or equivalent although a recent graduate of an engineering discipline will be considered
- Proficient AutoCAD skills
- Knowledge of cold forming and CNC machining techniques desirable but not essential
- Training could be offered to a candidate with some relevant experience
