Job Title: Water Network Engineer
Location: Dunfermline - travel and overnight accommodation throughout Scotland is required
Salary: £25,000 per annum + Company Van (Business Use Only)

Job Role:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Network Engineer to join the team. Your principal responsibilities will be to:
- To provide hands on technical assistance to the Network Manager in the delivery of the leakage and network infrastructure strategy for the company across the Ministry of Defence Estate in Scotland.
- Work on leak detection (sounding, correlation, use of ground microphone, step testing, internal building surveys)
- Work on hydrant testing, drainage / sewer surveys, logger maintenance
- Responsible for the supervision of contractors
The Candidate:
Skills:
- Experience in leak detection on water distribution networks.
- Understanding of surface water and waste water distribution systems.
- Analytical and problem solving skills in relation to water distribution networks and their operation.
- Knowledge of SMS / GRPS (Radcom/Cello) loggers programming and fault finding.
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of water distribution networks. Appreciation of both surface water and foul water networks to assist with fault finding and new connections.
- Knowledge of water metering equipment.
- Experience in using pipe location equipment to determine pipe routes.
- Experience in using electronic leakage detection equipment.
- Good report writing skills and communication. Ability to work independently of others and resolve problems on site.
- Experience in data analysis and the use of Microsoft excel and word to create reports.
- Experience in using electronic leakage detection equipment.
- Current valid driving license.
Essential:
- Qualifications in Leakage/ Water Networks.
- Previous experience working within the Water Industry
- HND/HNC qualified in related topic.
- IOSH
- Environmental awareness
Desirable:
- Have worked within the water industry for at least 5 years
