Guideposts have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced and enthusiastic Stock Fulfilment and Inventory Assistant to join our dedicated team based at our Binley (Coventry) mobility centre. Working 20 hours per week (worked Monday – Friday), the successful Stock Fulfilment and Inventory Assistant will receive a competitive salary of £18,525 pro rata.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Stock Fulfilment and Inventory Assistant in our Binley (Coventry) mobility centre following our recent partnership with Guideposts, a health and social care charity.
You will contribute to the profitability of the Mi-Life retail operations by receiving, handling and managing the inventory of merchandise and supplies in a timely and organised manner.
We retail a large variety of mobility products in-store and on-line. We want to recruit people who will care about our customers and believe in providing the right products and the best customer service to make a difference.
The Stock Fulfilment and Inventory Assistant Role
What are my responsibilities?
- To ensure the accurate and efficient fulfilment of customer orders through all retail channels
- You will be working as part of a group of mobility centres with a view to support the development of the business.
- You will be responsible for ensuring products are easily accessible, constantly available, safely packaged and properly distributed across the retail outlets.
- Ensure consistency of recording onto and traceability of merchandise through the e-commerce system to ensure compliance with designated inventory levels and prevent run outs.
- Provide stock information and participate in periodic stock takes as and when required.
Our ideal Stock Fulfilment and Inventory Assistant will have:
- Previous Warehouse, logistics, stock or retail experience is essential
- Experience of a retail ideally within a mobility centre environment would be helpful but not essential
- You should be bright, enthusiastic and positive
- Be computer literate and have experience of using computer order processing systems
- Ability to organise own time and multi-task
- Strong team player
- Determination, reliable and punctual
- 'Can do' attitude
