Our Client is one of twenty-one Community and Rehabilitation Companies (CRCs) across England and Wales. They cover Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, and Telford & Wrekin.

They are part of the Criminal Justice System and work in partnership with the National Probation Service, Police, Prisons, and Courts.  They also work with Local Authorities, Health, and Voluntary sector organisations.

They work directly with Service Users to tackle the causes of their offending behaviour and help them to stop re-offending. Their aims are to protect the public, reduce offending, ensure proper punishment of Service Users in the community, ensure that Service Users are aware of the effects of crime on the victims and the public, and rehabilitate Service Users. 

They now have a new opportunity for a Network Support Technician and Administrator to join them based at their Head Office in Worcester where you will provide 2nd line support to the following areas: Network, Hardware, Software, WiFi and Telephones. This is a permanent, full time position.

As an ICT Network Support Technician and Administrator, you will liaise and work with 3rd line support (external suppliers) in order to resolve incidents, problems and implement change. Providing 2nd line Case Management (Enigma) support and undertaking site visits and asset management, you will provide desk side support to Assistive Technology Users whilst also covering the Service Desk as and when required.

Installing, supporting, and maintaining all networked equipment, as well as managing hardware assets, maintaining and updating the Configuration Management Database, the role involves troubleshooting and problem solving 2nd line IT incidents and problems whilst also escalating to 3rd line support any incidents that cannot be resolved.

They are looking for someone with a broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, and IT hardware. With previous experience of working in an IT role or environment, as well as experience of network installation and maintenance, you will have good IT problem solving skills and be willing to learn new skills. The ability to recognise the need for confidentiality is key, as is being a team player who is reliable, flexible and an excellent communicator.
