Sales Order Administrator
Location: Bedford/Milton Keynes Outskirts
Salary: To GBP20,000 plus benefits
Sales Order Administrator
We are a successful and globally renowned high value low volume capital equipment manufacturer. We now have a requirement for an experienced Sales Administrator to join our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entry of order details onto the MRP system, taking technical details from quotations, identifying queries and following up and ensuring values are correct. We invite applications from Sales Administrators with some similiar experience gained in a previous role.
Sales Administrator
- Answer customer and distributor calls relating to orders and invoicing queries.
- Liaise with the Operations Manager with regards production scheduling and build times.
- Using templates within AX to ensure correct products are picked for the manufactured items
- Raise customer invoices giving discounts and charging VAT appropriately, on a daily basis.
- Raise despatch paperwork for all systems, whether to be shipped abroad or installed in the UK.
- Arrange shipping of product overseas, working with different carriers to ensure the best cost, quality and service is achieved.
- Understand export processes and procedures, including the legal requirements for different countries. Research controls as required.
- Carry out credit control.
- Ensure records are maintained and filed regularly.
- Provide telephone cover occasionally for reception.
- Undertake general administration work and any other tasks as arises.
- Perform other reasonable duties as required.
