A brilliant new opportunity has become available working for an established family run business located west of Edinburgh as a Marketing Executive.

Within this standalone role you will be responsible for co-ordinating and executing current marketing strategies, whilst supporting the development of this going forward.

Your key duties will include:

- Writing and designing marketing messages both in digital and traditional formats
- Planning and executing promotional campaigns
- Maintaining a constant feed to social media
- Exploring new platforms and avenues
- Updating the company website and liaising with other including web design team
- Contribute to and implementation of marketing plans and strategies
- Maintain website content including blogs, products and promotions
- Create, manage and monitor digital marketing campaigns across numerous methodologies including email, PPC, website and social media, working closely with their Digital Marketing partner
- Monitor and manage all social media accounts across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn, including the creation and delivery of regular posts plus set up, deliver and management of social media based advertising activity
- Managing the production of marketing materials including leaflets, posters, flyers, e-newsletters, including writing and proof-reading copy
- Attendance at relevant trade shows
- Work closely with customer facing teams to support new ideas and publish up to date content
- Build relationships with partners in the sector
- Manage the marketing budget
- Work with sales team to drive pipeline

- Qualification within marketing field
- 1-2yrs work experience within a standalone marketing role
- Budget experience
- Experience of content creation across both traditional and digital formats
- Strong computing skills and capability
- Excellent social media knowledge
- Good team player

- Organised and efficient
- Creative with an eye for detail and new ideas
- Proactive, determined and willingness
- Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
- Copy writing, content re-purposing and proof reading skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships internal and externally
- HOLD A CLEAN UK DRIVERS LICENCE
