Our client is an exclusive private members club based in central Birmingham within St Paul's Square near to the Jewellery Quarter.
The club has a membership of around 120 men and women and is open Monday to Friday for lunch which is served in one sitting at a communal table at 1:00 pm and is formal, daily attendance is between 10 and 40 people.
The club offers relaxation and fine home cooking for business and professional people in a unique atmosphere of comfort and genial fellowship, fostered by the traditions of nearly 150 years of continuous existence.
They are currently seeking a House Manager to run the club: you will be extremely well presented, articulate and have strong operational experience of running all aspect of a private members' club, restaurant or a similar operation.
You will manage the membership base whilst maintaining a 5 * service standard throughout the Club, manage work schedules, budgets, policies, and procedures for a team of 4.
The club has an active membership and committee which you will work closely with to increase revenue and membership numbers by uploading events on Eventbrite and mailing members.
The basic hours of work are from 9:30 am till 4:30 pm but there is an expectation of evening and weekend working on a regular basis for events.
