We're looking for a passionate and driven CRM specialist, ideally of Graduate calibre with a clear passion for data analysis & trends with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to read large amounts of complex data and reports, and summarise accordingly.

You will be confident in communicating to internal senior members of the team and across categories using email, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Externally you will be required to liaise with the support and account management teams at our ESP (Communicator) and CRM system (Salesforce).

The successful candidate must have the ability to analyse & manipulate data, experience of CRM systems and understand the implications of the data to suggest improvements and enhancements for the Trinity Mirror business.

What you'll be doing

In order to succeed in this role you will:

  • Design, copy write, proof and action marketing emails, adhering to best in class email concepts
  • Brief the CRM creative team where necessary
  • Develop A/B testing approaches to identify most effective communication content/creative
  • Read and monitor email performance patterns
  • Feedback of campaign results to Sales teams and Managers across the business
  • Contribute to weekly campaign ideas workshops
  • Matching relevant campaign audience data to emails using filters, again adhering to best in class marketing concepts
  • Develop a lifecycle-triggered contact strategy
  • Have a good understanding of web analytics i.e. Google analytics

Ideally, you will have Previous experience of email/database marketing including evidence of full campaign management and use of email marketing software. You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the key principles of database marketing including data segmentation and targeting, knowledge and/or experience of content management systems and CRM.
