A high-tech Electronic Product Manufacturer in Southampton, Hampshire, require a Product Technical Support Engineer who can act as a key technical liaison between the company & their clients around the world.

The role has arisen due to a busy order book, with our client bringing a number of new cutting edge products to market.

In order to support these new products, they need to appoint an individual who can become an expert on the technology & receive full product training.

You will offer technical support via phone, email (& occasional client visits), participating in the global service & support function to ensure customer satisfaction.

Your background will ideally be in Electronic Engineering. You're likely to have a couple of years' experience working in a Product Support environment & be comfortable with client technical support. The ability to interface with clients is crucial so you'll need first class communication skills. This role may suit a recent service leaver with good interpersonal skills & an electronic background.

The role is based in Southampton, Hampshire, close to the M27 Motorway, & easily commutable from locations such as Fareham, Portsmouth & Winchester. Salary is likely to be in the region of GBP25,000-30,000 + benefits including pension, private medical etc.
