RF Test Technician required for an ongoing contract position in Herefordshire for a leading engineering company. As an RF Test Technician you will be working on bespoke radio equipment used in the Defence sector. This company manufactures a wide range of specialist products and services for both the fixed and mobile communication industries.
Job Title: RF Test Technician
Rate: GBP15 to GBP20 P/H
Employment Type: 6 Month
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Herefordshire
The RF Test Technician / Engineer will preferably have a Defence or PA background, have a strong manual testing bias with the ability to work with a large range of test equipment including, Network Analysers, Spectrum Analysers, Signal Generators, Noise Figure Analysers and Power Meters. The RF Test Technician / Engineer have an understanding of Gain, Rejection, Amplitude Response, Noise Figure and Power measurements and will be able to fault find at modular level coupled with good systems fault finding skills.
Candidates must be able to read and understand engineering circuit diagrams and may have an added ability to fault find to component level.
