A leading FMCG food manufacturer is seeking a Production Planner / Supply Chain Planner to support their manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Planning Manager, the role of the Planner is to plan production for the factory to ensure deliveries to customers are met on time, in full whilst monitoring factory efficiency and minimising disposal costs.
The successful Planner will have previous planning experience (materials, production, demand) in a fast paced FMCG manufacturing environment The Planner requires excellent analytical thinking, strong excel and systems experience and good communication skills.
Planner responsibilities include:
Plan production in all facilities to ensure 100% customer service.
Plan, manage and reconcile finished goods stocks to optimum levels in terms of cost, risk and customer service.
Customer and promotional activity plans are reviewed and planning systems updated accurately on a daily basis
Build & maintain relationships with all customers both internally & externally.
Ensure planning systems are maintained & kept up to date.
Ensure planning needs are communicated effectively to all production areas.
Ensure Planning Best Practice are implemented & adhered to.
Build & maintain relationships with both Production & Warehouse Teams.
Ensure that Day to day planning, forecasts & schedules are issued to all areas in a timely manner.
Maintain & improve all reports produced by planning.
Ensure that all retailer shortages are communicated to
