My client is a high profile organisation based in London seeking a Media Specialist for a 12 month FTC starting straight away based in London.
Description
Within this diverse role, you will be required to:
- Generate proactive media coverage by writing press releases promoting the organisation's news and thought leadership material
- Build productive relationships with trade, national and business journalist to maximise coverage
- Liaising with colleagues in technical areas of the business and promoting their industry specific content
- Write copy, including feature articles, letters to the editor and blog posts.
Profile
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Sense of ownership - capable to deliver results without the need for micromanagement
- Initiative - the candidate will have the opportunity to develop ideas for new campaigns and opportunity to manage them
- Experience working in a global comms team or PR agency (desirable)
Job Offer
The client is offering a salary based between GBP30,000 to GBP32,000 per annum on a FTC for 12 months starting straight away.
