Due to an increasing workload, RPS is seeking to recruit a Project Engineer/Project Manager to join our Project Management team in Belfast. The post will be based in our Belfast office but duties may require travelling throughout the UK and Ireland.
The Project Management Team within RPS is currently involved with a number of Water Infrastructure, Civil Engineering and Building developments primarily in Northern Ireland. Working for both public and private clients we have highly motivated and experienced teams providing innovative solutions for the built environment. Due to an expanding workload we are looking to recruit new talent to supplement our existing teams and help us to enhance our already excellent reputation.
EXPERIENCE
* Suitable experience in Project Management and Civil Engineering or other related works including procurement and contract administration under NEC3
* Experience working in a Project Management role in the Water Sector would be advantageous
* Experience in the use of Project Management software (MSProject)
* Excellent Communications skills, with the ability to communicate with clients and other professionals
* Good interpersonal skills, both on an individual and team level
* A full driving licence
QUALIFICATIONS
* BEng/MEng Honours degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant Project Management discipline (Masters degree would be an advantage).
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
* Engineering design for Civil Engineering projects
* Project Management of Water Infrastructure, Civil Engineering and building developments
* Preparing technical and progress reports;
* Attending client and design team meetings;
* Preparing presentations;
* Managing financial budgets of job tasks.
* Liaising with other members of the Project Management Team to deliver an effective service to our clients
* Supporting senior staff in business development activities
