Head of Financial Planning and Treasury
Location: Watford
Salary: up to GBP70,000 + Excellent Benefits package

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Leader to join their management team and contribute to the overall achievement of their ambitious development pipeline and future business targets. This role comes at an exciting time for the organisation, which is moving into a more active development role.
This role will be central to delivering a dynamic planning capability to support their development pipeline and it will ensure they have an appropriate funding strategy in place across the group. This role will enable the move to a more complex corporate structure, devise effective funding strategies and ensure the strategic plan has been stress-tested and is in line with debt covenants and conditions. Additional responsibilities will include leading the strategic planning process, managing relationships with funders, Treasury advisers, regulators and wider business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant, with a Treasury Management qualification. You will have previously produced reports for Boards and Committees and have significant experience of financial planning within a business.
You will have a detailed understanding of negotiating banking facilities, capital markets and derivative instruments. A strong communicator, you will be able to convey numerical data and build effective working relationships with other areas of the business.
