JOB TITLE: Work Based Learning Administrator
LOCATION: Carlisle, Cumbria
SALARY AND BENEFITS: GBP17,000 - GBP18,000 per annum
COMPANY INFORMATION:
Our client is an Ofsted Outstanding Grade 1 training organisation, based in the North West of England. The company was established in June 2000 by 5 partner companies who are leading companies primarily within the nuclear industry.
There ethos focuses on providing high quality employer and learner responsive training and educational programmes. They work with over 250 employers at any one time and in the last thirteen years; over 2000 apprentices have been trained by them, with 94% of them progressing into full-time employment with their employer once training has been completed.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Experience of working with Work Based Learning contracts
- Experience of using MAYTAS

- Excellent IT Skills including experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment to achieve against tight deadlines
- Excellent organising ability
- Strong communication skills
ROLE INFORMATION
As the work Based Learning Administrator you will be responsible for checking, processing and inputting information relating to new and exciting learners.
The main duties and responsibilities are:
- Checking, processing and inputting of paperwork relating to new and existing learners
- Registering learners and claiming completed qualifications
- Deal with telephone enquiries, responding to queries as appropriate.
- Invigilation of exams
- Administration and setting up of commercial courses
- Update information from SFA which has to be imparted to employers
- Maintain and update central records for all learners complying with internal and external quality assurance systems.
- Carry out aptitude testing of learners
